Building out equipment.

So we are unpacking and building out equipment for Engine Yard at the Herakles data center in Sacremento. Here’s a few quick snaps of our 6 terrabyte CoRaid SAN and and all the 1Gig sticks of RAM for our dual Opteron boxes.

    Hey Ezra! I always wanted to play with ATA over Ethernet equipment! Btw, your dual opteron are dual-core too? I deployed a box with 2 Opteron 265 and 8GB of RAM. (1.5 years ago). RAID6 using Areca ARC-1220 PCI-e solution (580MB/s, enough for Video, hehehe). Good luck and have fun @ Engine Yard!

    Thanks Luis! Yeah the servers are dual core dual chip Opterons. We put 8gigs of ram in each box. We also got two coyote point hardware load balancers and plenty of other goodies.
