EngineYard.com gets some love

We have been extremely busy working on Engine Yard. I couldn’t be happier with our progress. We are already running more then 130 slices and growing rapidly.

But I think our website didn’t do a very good job of explaining what kind of service we realy offer. Also it wasn’t clear what an EngineYard slice really gets you.

Well Damien Tanner from new-bamboo.co.uk and Lance form EY have been working very hard on revamping our site to better showcase our offerings. So here is our new updated website:

www.engineyard.com

And the what you get page is much better now.

what’s a slice really mean?

Looks VERY good! :) So much so, I want to post something about it on Ruby Inside soon.

The engine yard site looks fantastic, it is exactly what I wanted to see when Koz intro'd engine yard as an option for keeping PlanHQ alive 24/7. Rails, complete full-stack service solution, an absolute winner. Love the branding, very cool indeed. Cheers for hooking us up so quickly, I had 1/2 a dozen emails from customers yesterday complaining about performance as we were experiencing a bit of load on our other dedicated server, then this mroning we were on engineyard and got a couple of emails immediately saying how speed was great. And only 15 minutes of downtime to switch, very impressed, and excited that engine yard will be a complete hosting partner for PlanHQ as we geow, cheers, Tim.
